Fido XTRA FAQs

From time to time, we review and make changes to our products and services as part of our ongoing efforts to deliver experiences and value that our customers want. As part of these efforts, Fido XTRA, Fido’s perks program, will come to an end. As of December 1, 2023, Fido XTRA will no longer be offered or accessible in the Fido app.

You can continue to enjoy other advantages like 5 hours of extra data at no cost, phone starting at $0 and data overage protection.

When do I lose access to my perks?

You can redeem individual perks until November 30 in the History tab of Fido XTRA. We’ll share a bill message to all impacted customers between October 19-November 18. 

What should I do if I have an issue redeeming a perk?

If you’re having trouble redeeming a perk before November 30, contact the merchant’s customer service. You can find their contact information in the perk details of Fido XTRA.

As of December 1, all FidoXTRA perks are expired and can no longer be redeemed.

Can I transfer my perks to my friends or family?

Some perks can be shared with friends and family. This will continue to be available on select perks until the perk expires. You can find the expiry date in the individual perk redemption details. Where there is no expiry date, you can redeem a perk until November 30.

As of December 1, all FidoXTRA perks are expired and can no longer be redeemed.

What happens to prizes I’ve won in Fido XTRA contests?

You’ll still get your prizes per the contest rules. 

To redeem a digital prize, visit the History tab of Fido XTRA by November 30.

We’ll ship all physical prizes by November 30.
