If you can’t remember your WiFi network name and password you can log into your Fido modem to check. Follow these steps.
Forgot a WiFi network name and password
- Connect to your modem using an Ethernet cable, or by using a device that is already connected to your home WiFi.
- Open a web browser and enter https://192.168.0.1 in the address bar and press Enter.
- Your browser might display a warning about the SSL certificate. To bypass the message:
- Chrome: Select Advanced, then select Proceed to 192.168.0.1 (unsafe).
- Edge: Select Advanced, then select Proceed to 192.168.0.1 (unsafe).
- Firefox: Select Advanced, then select Accept the Risk and Continue.
- Safari: Select Show details, then select visit this website.
- Your browser might display a warning about the SSL certificate. To bypass the message:
- Enter the following default settings to access your modem’s settings and select Login.
- Username: cusadmin
- Password: the WiFi password you created when you set up the modem. If you've forgotten the password, you’ll need to factory reset the modem and set it up again.

From the main menu for your modem settings, select Wireless from the top navigation.
To check your WiFi network name(s) and password:
- Select the Basic Settings tab.
- Select either the 2.4G or 5G tab. The Network Name (SSID) and Password can be found on the right side of the screen.
- When band steering is enabled on your modem, the network name and password will be the same for both the 2.4G and 5G frequencies.
